Kirk Lee Portzel, age 70, of Knightdale, passed away at UNC/Johnston Health on Friday, April 9, 2021. Born in Michigan on April 17, 1950, he was the son of the late Gerald and Patricia Moran Portzel.
Surviving are his wife, Jodie Portzel; daughters Sara Buhr and husband John of Colorado, Loring Morris and husband Dan of Knightdale; sisters, Gerri Jenkins and Julie Sexton, both of Oregon; and grandchildren, Aiden, Scovia, Hannah, Benjamin, Griffin and Beckett.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
