    Benson, NC: Miss Kristen Paige “KP” Allen, age 38, of Railroad Road died Friday, February 26, 2021, at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh after an extended illness. Funeral Services will be 3:00PM Monday, March 1, 2021, at Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Joe Brown. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

    Kristen was born April 20, 1982 in Wake County to Randy and Vicky Adams Allen of Benson. She was preceded in death by her PaPa Adams, James “Arlon” Adams; Grandma Gladys, Gladys Hayes Adams.

    Surviving in addition to her parents are her twin brother, Eric Allen and wife, Kristen of Kernersville, NC; sister, Kerry Taylor and husband, Tyler of Benson; paternal grandparents, Granddaddy Eustace and Grandma Emma Lee Allen of Benson; nieces and nephews, Beckett and Declan Allen, Gracelyn Paige, Delilah, and Maddox Taylor; aunts, Onnie Mae Adams Pleasant and husband, Tony of Lewisville, NC and Kathy Allen Raynor and husband, Danny of Benson; cousins, Anthony and Barrett Pleasant, Ethan and Taylor Raynor; special caretaker, Shamikka Dixon.

    Although Kristen had many physical limitations, she had a huge impact on her family, her church, and her community. Her infectious laughter brought joy to her grandparents. She was perfect in their eyes. She was Grandma Emma Lee’s “Sweetie” and Grandma Gladys’ “Baby” and they were always eager to babysit. Kristen was a constant presence in Banner Chapel Church, attending Sunday School and Church, Vacation Bible School and many other functions. Her presence in the Benson community was known as she attended Benson Elementary School, ballgames with her dad and her brother, Eric, and other community events. She remained at home with her parents with assistance from many care givers, including her Aunt Kathy and sister, Kerry. She was truly an angel on earth.

    Kristen will be available for viewing and you may sign the register book on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 12:00PM-5:00PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC. The family will not be present during this time.

    Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church, P.O. Box 423 Benson, NC 27504.

    In accordance with NC-COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing and the three W’s: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. Masks are required for all services.
