Milton Vann Price, age 66, of Kenly, passed away at his home on September 11, 2020. Born in Wilson County on January 10, 1954, he was the son of the late Fletcher and Ora Stancil Price. He as preceded in death by a brother Donnie Ray Price. Vann was a Supervisor for the NC Department of Transportation for nearly 40 years. He was a recipient of the “Order of the Long Leaf Pine”. Vann loved life, loved people and was an avid Tarheel Basketball Fan. Over the last eight years he loved watching his granddaughter Carson grow and calling him “Pappy”.
The family will receive friends at New Jerusalem Free Will Baptist Church on Tuesday from 1-2 pm followed by a graveside service at 2 pm in the church cemetery.
Surviving are his sons, Ryan Bradley Price and wife Courtney of Kenly, Stewart Price of Wilmington; his fiance’ Mary Ellen Richardson; sisters, Lucille P. Price and Gail Stancil, both of Smithfield; His granddaughter Carson Price; and his nephews, Joey and David Price, Robbie Stancil and wife Sybil.
