Smithfield- Jesse Avis Hamilton, age 80, passed away Friday September 11, 2020 at his home in Smithfield. He was born in Johnston County October 4, 1939 to the late Jesse Leo Hamilton and Martha Viola Creech Hamilton.
A private graveside service will take place on Wednesday September 16, 2020 at Sullivan Family Cemetery. Mr. Hamilton is survived by wife of 55 years, Joyce Creech Hamilton; Son, Jesse A. Hamilton Jr., and wife Jenny of Sarasota Springs, UT; Daughter, Amy Helms and husband Tripp of Monroe; Brother, Wade Hamilton of Smithfield; Sister, Vicki ONeal of Simms; Grandchildren, Max Steele, Zealy Helms, Henry Helms, Ashley Hamilton, Megan Hamilton.
