Mina Gray Evans, 82, died Thursday, January 15, 2019 in Johnston UNC Health in Smithfield. Mina was born April 23, 1936 in Johnston County. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Evans; and spouse, Lester Evans.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2019 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Evans Family Cemetery in Pine Level.
Surviving are her daughters, Teresa Montelongo of Goldsboro, and Judy Ann Evans of Selma; grandchildren, Brandon Montelongo, Vanessa Montelongo, Jamie Parrish, Cynthia Parrish, and Jonathan Chapman; and great grandchildren, Sonya Parrish, Emmanuel Parrish, Mia Parrish, Megan Parrish, Anastasia Hinson, Emanuel Butts, Cheyenne Hinson, Amy Gale Evans, Christopher Evans, and Nathan Parrish.
