Middlesex- Rebecca Sue Narron “Becky” Murphy, age 76, passed peacefully to be with the Lord early Wednesday morning, July 26, 2017 in the SECU Hospice House. Born August 10, 1940 in Houston, TX to the late Sam and Susie Finney Narron, she was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, where she was active in the WMU.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Creech and the Rev. Marvin Ownley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Surviving are her son, John Lowell Murphy of Middlesex; daughter, Susan Murphy Mason and husband Robin of Pine Level; brother, Richard “Rooster” Narron and wife Robin of Goldsboro; two grandchildren, Jonathan Brook Lewis and wife Cristin and Dakota Rane Mason; nephew, Samuel F. Narron and wife Aaron; niece, Virginia Wilkins and husband Riley; and great nieces and nephews, Lillie Scott Narron, Trey Narron and Ellie Belle Wilkins.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.
