Highway Patrol Searching For Vehicle Involved In Hit & Run
SMITHFIELD – The State Highway Patrol is searching for a vehicle involved in a hit and run accident. The collision occurred at 6:39am today (Thursday) in the 3000 block of Creech’s Mill Road, east of Smithfield.
The State Highway Patrol is searching for a gray 2010-2011 model Kia Soul with damage to the right front bumper. The car will be missing a side mirror. A similar vehicle is pictured here. The suspect vehicle is gray, not green as shown in the photo.
SHP First Sergeant Matthew Heon said the hit and run vehicle struck a bicyclist traveling with the flow of traffic. The victim was transported to Wake Med in Raleigh for treatment.
Troopers are searching for a gray 2010-11 Kia Soul with damage to the right front bumper. The Kia will be missing a side mirror.
