Smithfield – Russell Eugene Brown, age 67, died Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at his home. Born August 30, 1950 in Johnston County he was a son of the late Clyde Vernon and Harriett Irene Edwards Brown, he was preceded in death by a brother, Buster Brown and sisters, Shirley Drady, Marguerite Rigdon and Ester Meyer.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2017 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with the Rev. Craig Langdon officiating. Burial will follow in the Price Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. just prior to the service.
Surviving are his children; Kristi Brown of Princeton, Patrick Ryan Brown and wife Melyssa of Kenly, Rusty Brown and wife Sheila of Selma and Cristy Genbreau of Mullins,, SC; brothers, Walter “Leroy” Brown of Princeton and Tommy Brown of Virginia; sisters, Rita Norris of Smithfield, Alice benson of Florida and Dorothy Brewer of Princeton; eleven grandchildren and two great granddaughters.
