Kenly – Sandra Denise Edgeley Pendergraft, age 53, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2020, in Transitions Hospice Care facility in Cary. She was born a daughter of James Curtis and Beatrice Irene Edgeley on July 24, 1967, in Lenoir County. She is preceded in death by her daughter Amanda Pendergraft.
Sandra was a member of Bakers Chapel Ministries in Brogden. During her life she enjoyed
reading, working on puzzles, studying her Bible, but most importantly she loved all her family, kids, grandkids and her beloved husband.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted on Monday, November 2, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. in the Wilson Cemetery in Kenly.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years Mr. Joy Pendergraft, father, James Curtis Edgeley, mother, Beatrice Irene Edgeley, son, Joseph Pendergraft (Fiancée Hope Alford) of Kenly, daughter, Brittney Brogden of Seven Springs, Tiffany Pendergraft (husband Michael Nipper) of Kenly, and Alicia Bedford of Selma, brother, Jerome (wife Miranda) of Princeton, sister, Jennifer Sorensen (husband Lonnie) of Princeton, grandchildren, Austin Pendergraft, Calab Godfrey, Braylen Nipper, McKenzie Nipper, and Jaxson Bedford.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Parrish Funeral Home Inc. for the funeral expenses.
