Selma – William Robert “Robbie” Brantham , age 57, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020, in UNC Lenoir Health in Kinston. He was born on September 27, 1963, a son of the late William D. Brantham Jr. and Judith McCray Brantham, in Johnston County. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, “Willie” Powell, Anna Powell, Robert McCray and Mamie McCray.
Robbie worked for thirty five years with Johnston County Industries, he attended Micro Original Free Will Baptist Church because he loved his Savior Jesus Christ. He was honorary captain of the Micro Fire Department and he loved being around people, he never knew a stranger. He enjoyed watching WWE wrestling, and the UNC Tarheels. He had a great knowledge of country music and enjoyed listening to it. He enjoyed fishing, watching softball games, and being with his family, he also competed in the Special Olympics. Most importantly Robbie loved all his family.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at 11:00 A.M. in the Oakland Heights Cemetery in Smithfield. Family and friends may pay their respects before the service from 9:00 – 10:30 A.M. at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma, the family will not be present during this time.
He is survived by his sister Kym Dixon, her husband Johnny (Robbie’s best friend), of Selma, , niece, Anna Carol Seasons (husband Sean) of Hubert, great nieces, Kolby and Ellie Seasons, nephew, Jacob Creech (wife Ashley) of Kenly; sister, Christina Antunez of Massillon, OH, nephews, Michael Brantham, Antonio Antunez and Christian Antunez, life coach, Kelly Moore, and his partner in crime, Tim Earp “Harp”.
