MICRO – One person was sent to the hospital following a collision between a semi-truck and passenger car. The collision was reported around 1:15pm Thursday at the 100.5 mile marker between Selma and Micro.
A bobtail semi-truck and passenger car were both traveling northbound when they collided. The driver of the passenger car complained of minor injuries and was transported by Johnston County EMS to Johnston Medical Center in Smithfield.
One northbound lane was briefly closed.
Micro Fire and Selma Fire responded. The State Highway Patrol investigated the mishap.
