SMITHFIELD – A new automotive dealership could locate in Smithfield. The Johnston County Report has confirmed plans have been submitted to the Town of Smithfield for a new Kia dealership. The car dealership will be located at 1698 Booker Dairy Road, the old Classic Ford location.

Plans were submitted to the Town by Mills Automotive Group of Pineville, NC, the parent company of Classic Ford.

The Booker Dairy Road site has been vacant since Classic Ford moved to their new location, at 1324 N. Brightleaf Boulevard, a few years ago.

The site plan includes an addition to the 15,615 sq foot building and improvements to the parking area. The property is already zoned for an auto dealership.

  1. Hey, you need to be more greatful for our progressive liberals that may have sold out a few jobs for piece? Just look at all of the social programs that these foreign dollars are supporting by means of public housing and public assistance? Just be patient and let the new world order work this out in a way that capitalism could never do.
