Police: Two Juveniles Charged After Man Found Shot In Crashed Vehicle
GOLDSBORO, N.C. – Two juveniles have been charged with murder after police determined a man found dead inside a crashed vehicle had been shot.
Goldsboro Police responded around 5:26 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, to the 600 block of West Holly Street following a report of a motor vehicle crash.
When officers arrived, they found a deceased person inside the vehicle. Investigators with the department’s Investigative Services Bureau were called to the scene.
The victim was later identified as Anthony Hutchinson, 29, of Goldsboro.
Police said further investigation determined Hutchinson had been shot before his vehicle crashed.
Investigators developed two juvenile suspects, a 17-year-old male and a 15-year-old male, both from Goldsboro.
Both juveniles were arrested by Goldsboro Police and charged with murder.
They were transported to the Pitt Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
