A Johnston County public school bus was broken into and vandalized. The incident was discovered Monday morning on the campus of Corinth Holders High School at 6875 Applewhite Road.
According to a report filed by a school resource officer with Johnston County Sheriff’s Office, someone entered the bus between Friday night and Monday morning stealing a first aid kit and PPE supplies. The suspect also sprayed hand sanitizer on the seats. A key to the bus was also taken. The stolen items were valued at $35.
The incident remains under investigation.
