For the second time within a week, a Johnston County school has been broken into.
Between Friday and Saturday afternoon, someone broke into the maintenance shed and concession stand at Corinth Holders High School on Applewhite Road. A John Deere Gator all terrain vehicle, valued at $11,000, was reported stolen from the shed.
Johnston County deputies reported that 5 exterior doors and three interior doors were forced one at various buildings on the campus. The incident was reported to authorities on Sunday.
Last week, a break-in was reported at the Johnston County Schools Middle College, located on the campus of Johnston Community College in Smithfield. About $3,600 in property was taken including computers, cameras, sporting equipment, and a garbage can.
No arrests have been made in either incident.
