SELMA – With a population of approximately 7,000 residents, the Town of Selma is gaining state and international attention as it advances through the Strongest Town Contest for the second year in a row.
Selma, NC has advanced to the Elite 8 round of the 2024 competition and is working hard to gain more votes in this next round against Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Voting for this round opened Monday, March 18th and will close on Thursday, March 21st at 1:00PM EST.
Activate Selma, along with Latinos Activate JoCo, and other local organizations and businesses, have put a lot of time and effort into leading this initiative. The support of the community coming together defines what the sole purpose is behind this Strong Towns approach.
