Selma Awarded $60,000 NCDOT Grant
SELMA – The Town of Selma will undertake a study for pedestrian and bicycle paths in the city limits. The study is being made possible through a $60,000 NC Department of Transportation (NCDOT) Integrated Mobility Division (IMD) Multimodal Grant.
The grant requires a 10 percent match from the Town. The town council agreed to spend $6,000 to match the grant.
Funds will allow Selma to create a pedestrian and bicycle plan, which will include public meetings to gather input. Selma will have two years to complete the study.
