Selma Town Leaders Officially Sworn In
SELMA — Community members gathered at the Selma Civic Center on December 9 for a special town council meeting marking the swearing-in of local leaders elected to serve the town.

Council member Amy West Whitley was the first to take the oath of office after earning reelection to the Selma Town Council in November. She was followed by fellow council member Susan Parrish Watson, who also secured reelection last month.

Mayor Byron McAllister then received his official oath, formally beginning another term serving the Selma community.

The oaths of office were administered by Clerk of Court Michelle Ball, officially recognizing the leaders chosen by Selma voters.
