The Town of Smithfield will hold a Community Meeting on Tuesday, July 25th at 7:00PM to discuss the future use of the Family Life Center next to Smith Collins Park in East Smithfield.
The Town recently purchased the building. The primary function of the facility will be a Recreation Center. It will also house an office for a Community Policing Officer.
During the meeting, citizens can also give their input on a new name for the building.
