A shooting late-Saturday night in eastern Johnston County claimed the life of a Princeton man.
Around 9:00pm, Johnston County deputies responded to a report of a shooting at a home in the 3800 block of US Highway 70-A.
When officers arrived on the scene they located 68 year-old James Russell Lee who had been shot to death.
During the investigation Lee’s son, 37 year-old Evan Thomas Lee was taken into custody and charged with the murder of his father.
Deputies said the homicide appeared to be the result of a domestic dispute.
