Suspect Wanted After Burglaries At Three Smithfield Businesses
SMITHFIELD — Smithfield Police have identified a suspect wanted in connection with a series of overnight break-ins at three businesses in the 900 block of North Brightleaf Boulevard.
Officers were dispatched around 8:10 a.m. Wednesday to 903 N. Brightleaf Blvd. after receiving a report of a commercial breaking and entering. Police found signs of forced entry, and the business owner reported money had been stolen.
While canvassing the area, officers discovered two additional commercial break-ins at 929 N. Brightleaf Blvd. and 937 N. Brightleaf Blvd. Detectives and a crime scene investigator responded to assist with the investigation. Police did not identify the businesses in their news release.
Police identified Steven Jack Wayne Wolfe as the suspect.
Wolfe has been charged with two counts of breaking and entering, attempted breaking and entering a motor vehicle, larceny after breaking and entering, two counts of injury to real property, safe cracking, possession of burglary tools, breaking and entering a motor vehicle, and larceny from a motor vehicle.
Police said Wolfe remains wanted on the outstanding warrants. Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911. Anyone with information about Wolfe or the investigation is encouraged to contact the Smithfield Police Department at 919-934-2121.

I have seen this person in joco report numerous times over the years. Idk why they keep letting him out. He is obviously a no good person. A junkie and a thief. Smh. When they catch him keep him they need to keep him. We dont need people like him on the streets stealing from people/businesses causing ruckus..
