Three Escape Injury After Pickup Flips

SELMA, N.C. — Three people escaped injury after the pickup truck they were riding in overturned during a crash Thursday afternoon on Buffalo Road.

The single-vehicle accident occurred shortly before 2 p.m. near the intersection of Buffalo Road and Fire Department Road.

Emergency crews from Selma Fire, Johnston County EMS, and the N.C. State Highway Patrol responded to the scene.

Authorities said the pickup overturned and came to rest against a fence. The three occupants were evaluated by EMS at the scene but declined transport to the hospital.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. It was not immediately known if weather conditions played a role in the accident.
