Two women and one man were found shot at a home in the Dudley community in rural Wayne County Monday afternoon.
Deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a possible robbery at an address on Carraway Creek and located the victims.
Officers said the male occupant of the home, Danielle Duboris Vann, 35, was found outside the residence suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. The two women were found in the home. Valencia Nukieta Hussey, 31, of Dudley and her mother, 66 year-old Isephine Lofton Garner of Mount Olive.
Detectives said there was no robbery but rather a domestic dispute that apparently led up to the shootings. Authorities believe Valencia Hussey left the residence on Sunday to stay the night at another residence. When she returned Monday with her mother to collected some of her personal belongings, Danielle Vann confronted the women with a firearm.
Vann is allegedly to have shot Hussey in the chest and Garner in the neck.
All three victims were transported to Wayne Memorial Hospital for treatment. Charges against Vann are pending.
