Troopers Investigate Head-On Collision

PRINCETON — Three people were injured Monday night in a head-on collision outside of Princeton, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
Troopers were called at 6:56 p.m. to a two-vehicle crash on Princeton-Kenly Road near Camil Drive.

Authorities said a 2014 white Nissan Frontier pickup driven by Christopher Hamilton, 31, of Princeton, was traveling north when it crossed the centerline and struck a southbound 2007 red Lincoln MKX.
The Lincoln was driven by Deleon Lee, 55, of Benson. Christina Garner, 55, also of Benson, was riding in the front passenger seat.

Hamilton, who was wearing a seat belt, became trapped in his vehicle and was freed by firefighters. Lee, who was not wearing a seat belt, was also trapped inside his vehicle and had to be extricated by first responders. Garner, who was unrestrained, was ejected from the Lincoln, troopers said.
All three were taken to a hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately available.
Charges are pending as the crash remains under investigation.

No seatbelt?
Seatbelt laws are stupid don’t wear your if you don’t want to if you get killed you want do it again
I feel dumber just trying to read this.
Seems like you weren’t wearing your seat belt.
It’s a real shame people can’t even pay enough attention to stay on their side of the center line. Don’t blame the victim.
Seatbelt or no seatbelt he was not at fault and he would have probably still been trapped in vehicle. Some people have medical issues where they cannot wear them. I hate it either way for all the parties involved and hope they all recover 100%.
