HARNETT COUNTY – A truck driver, pulling an excavator on a trailer, accidentally caught the edge of an overhang at Porter’s Chapel Church Monday morning, bringing the roof down on top of his truck.
Pastor Kevin Haynes said he was grateful no one was hurt in the incident.
The church is located at 589 Iris Bryant Road.
