CLAYTON – A Uber driver was robbed at gunpoint in Johnston County. The incident happened around 12:47pm Thursday, December 21st on Rocky Branch Drive near Clayton.
The 32 year-old victim said he was picking someone up on Rocky Branch Drive when he was robbed at gunpoint. The three unknown suspects took his Hyundai SUV and iPhone.
The Uber driver was not injured.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the robbery. No further information was released.
