UTV Collides With Car, 2 Seriously Injured

JOHNSTON COUNTY – According to authorities at the scene, an older couple attempting to cross Buffalo Road in a utility task vehicle (UTV), were struck by a car, Sunday evening on Buffalo Road near Stott’s Mill Road, just south of the Wake County line. Both occupants in the UTV were ejected and appeared to suffer serious injuries.

The occupants in the car, including a young child, were uninjured.

The State Highway Patrol investigated the accident.

Buffalo Road was shut down for nearly an hour as a result of the collision.

  1. Prayers for the older couple even though they were in the wrong. These UTVs should not be on roads as well as golf carts. I do hope the couple make a full recovery.

  2. Send love and prayers for all involved. 4 wheelers and dirt bikes are terrible on herring and Bizzell Grove. Day and night.

  3. Sending prayers to the older couple that was seriously hurt as well as the people in the car that were thankfully not hurt.
