CLAYTON – Police are investigating three car break-ins that occurred Saturday night or Sunday morning. In all three incidents, a side window was broken to gain entry into two cars and one pickup.
The thefts happened on Beech Landing Drive, McKenzie Ridge Drive, and Wentworth Loop, off NC 42 East.
Several items were taken from the locked vehicles including money, sunglasses, t-shirts, and a flashlight.
