Vehicle Overturns After Going Over Retaining Wall

WILSON’S MILLS — Authorities are investigating a single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning after a car drove over a retaining wall and overturned.

The incident happened shortly after 11 a.m. at the DG Market located at 3980 Wilson’s Mills Road.

According to initial reports, the driver traveled over a retaining wall in the parking area, causing the vehicle to flip onto its roof and come to rest against a tree.

Johnston County EMS evaluated the driver at the scene. Officials said the person did not require transport to a hospital.

Wilson’s Mills Fire Department also responded to assist.

Wilson’s Mills police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
