The Wake County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that’s left one person dead and another injured.
Shortly before 6:00am Sunday morning, Wake County deputies responded to 601 Poplar Street in Raleigh, where they found two persons shot.
Jesse James Holleman III was found dead on the scene, while Susan Clark Holleman was transported to WakeMed Hospital.
The cause of the shooting is still under investigation.
