Wilson’s Mills Police Asking For Help Locating Vandalism Suspects

WILSON’S MILLS – The Wilson’s Mills Police Department is requesting assistance locating the person or persons responsible for vandalism incidents in the Ives Landing subdivision, off Southerland Road.

Two incidents, both at separate residences, are believed to have occurred between midnight and 1:00am Monday, October 30.

The unknown assailants used red and pink spray paint on a home located at 96 Imperial Drive and a vehicle parked in the driveway two houses down at 78 Imperial Drive.

The two cases may be linked to similar investigations that began in August 2023. That investigation dealt with the communication of threats toward of one of the property owners, but not the other.

The residence at 96 Imperial has been vandalized on three previous occasions in similar fashion with spray paint, however neither property owner is connected with the other and police said it is a mystery why the victims have been targeted together.

Thus far, not enough information has been gathered to develop a suspect in any of the cases. The victims don’t have any idea why their homes and property have been targeted.

Police Chief A. Z. Williams said, “Wilson’s Mills is a safe community. These type incidents generally do not happen here. Unfortunately, leads have been sparse and thus far a search for neighborhood camera footage that may yield clues has not been successful.”

Anyone with knowledge or information that may assist in this investigation are encouraged to contact the Wilson’s Mills Police Department at 919-938-3885.
