Garner Police are asking any witnesses to a fatal crash Wednesday to come forward. Around 6:30pm, a 2011 Cadillac SUV driven by Brenda Culbreth, 69, of Garner and a 2006 BMW sedan, driven by Javier Orlando Alvarez Lopez, 22, of Wake County, collided at the intersection of White Oak Road and Timber Drive East.
Culbreth was taken to Wake Medical Center where she later died. Lopez and two passengers in his vehicle, were taken to Wake Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
Garner Police said they are still investigating what caused the crash. Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to contact Garner Police at 919-772-8810.
