A woman arrested for trespassing at a Johnston County Walmart had her bail increased from $500 to $25,500 after narcotics were allegedly found inside her bra while being processed into the Johnston County Jail.
Around 6:00pm Monday, deputies were called to Walmart at 5141 Highway 42 West in the Cleveland community for a trespassing complaint. Shannon Michelle Henson, 30, of Raleigh had reportedly been trespassed twice from the store but returned again on Monday. Loss prevention staff allege Henson took a number of grocery items to the self-checkout but did not ring all the items up. She was stopped when she tried to leave with the unpaid merchandise.
Deputies arrested Henson on a misdemeanor trespassing charge. A magistrate ordered her held under a $500 bond.
A female jailor processing Henson into jail allegedly found a pill bottle in her bra. The bottle reportedly contained methamphetamines and heroin.
Henson was subsequently charged with three felonies: possession of methamphetamines, possession of heroin, and possession of a controlled substance in jail. The magistrate set bail at $25,000 on those charges, increasing her total bail to $25,500.
