Several grass and woods fires kept Johnston County fire departments busy Friday afternoon.
One of the fires was reported on Norris Road near Swift Creek Middle School.

The Cleveland Fire Department was assisted by the NC Forestry Service in containing the large woods fire. The forestry service brought in a plow to help bring the fire under control.
The cause is still under investigation. No injuries were reported.
