Thanks to anonymous tips phoned in by WTSBRadio.com website viewers, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office was able to identify a suspect wanted for breaking into a Selma area shop stealing a $5,000 dirt bike.
The theft occurred on May 4th. Two men broke into a shop behind a home in the 2400 block of Highway 39 North stealing a 2009 KTM 300XC dirt bike from the owner.
After surveillance photos were posted, WTSB website viewers starting calling in tips. Based on those tips, 22 year-old Trevor Brad McDouglad of Thain Place, Smithfield was identified. On Tuesday, McDougald was charged with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny.
He was placed in the Johnston County Jail in lieu of a $20,000 bond.
