Counterfeit Items, Cocaine, Gun Found During I-95 Traffic Stop

Counterfeit clothing, sunglasses and other merchandise along with 5.6 ounces of cocaine were found inside of a car stopped for speeding on Interstate 95 on Wednesday.

Nash County authorities said the counterfeit items were worth $8,800. The cocaine had a potential street value of up to $15,700. Also seized was a 38 special revolver.

Jose M. Nino De Guzman, 38, of Fort Myers, Florida was arrested on felony drug and counterfeiting charges. He was also charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.

Guzman was confined in the Nash County Detention Center under a $235,000 bond.
