Johnston County Register of Deeds Craig Olive appeared on WTSB Radio Monday afternoon. Olive, serving his fourth term as Register of Deeds, was interviewed by Carl Lamm.
Craig discussed new passport services being offered along with vital records and historic documents his department handles.
The office has 11 employees. One employee, Clarry Gathers, is retiring August 30th after 26 years of service to the citizens of Johnston County.
The Register of Deeds Office is located inside the Johnston County Courthouse in Downtown Smithfield. The phone number is 919-989-5160. The office is open from 8:00am until 5:00pm Monday – Friday.
