Auction Scheduled For County And Sheriff’s Office Surplus Items

SMITHFIELD, N.C. – The Johnston County Board of Commissioners has declared certain county property as surplus and authorized it to be sold at public auction.

Wester Auction Company of Benson will conduct the County of Johnston and Sheriff’s Office surplus property auction, which will be held live online Sunday, May 3, beginning at 6 p.m.

Items will be available for viewing and bidding in advance at westerauction.com. An in-person preview will also be held Saturday, May 2, behind the Johnston County Sheriff’s Fleet Services garage at 60 Shelter Way in Smithfield.

All vehicles and other property will be sold “as is” to the highest bidder. Payment will be due at the time of sale.
