Central Baptist Church Unveils New Kids’ Worship Space With Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

DUNN – Central Baptist Church is holding the grand opening of KidCentral, a new dedicated worship space designed exclusively for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. The ribbon-cutting ceremony, hosted by the Dunn Area Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled for Tuesday, February 6th, at 11:00 AM, and the entire community is invited to join in this celebration.

The new building provides much-needed space for the growing children’s ministry. The building has been designed with spacious rooms for Sunday School classes for each grade at 9:00am each Sunday.

The large, open area used for KidCentral Live each Sunday night at 5:30pm has plenty of room for games, music, candy and of course, Children’s Pastor Jeremy Autry’s never-boring, interactive preaching.

Every 6-weeks kids also enjoy “Bombdiggity” – a worship experience just for them during the 10:00am Sunday service. The space also includes a sensory room for the “Hero Central” ministry, dedicated to helping children with developmental differences grow in understanding God’s love.

Lead Pastor Cameron Cloud said, “This building is about our church family’s commitment to the faith of our children and the future of our community. It’s a place for kids to learn about Jesus and share Him with others, and I love that it reflects the heart of our church!”

This milestone represents CBC’s unwavering dedication to nurturing the faith of the next generation and its commitment to providing a safe, inspiring, and inclusive environment where children can learn about and experience the love of Christ.
