DWI Suspect Facing Felony Charges After What Was Found In Intoxilyzer Room
SMITHFIELD – Things went from bad to worse for a motorist arrested for speeding and driving while impaired in Johnston County.

On June 22, Unique Chavis of Bronx, NY was arrested by Trooper M. Parks on Interstate 40 for driving while impaired, speeding 101 mph in a 70 mph zone, reckless driving to endanger, and possession of an open container in the passenger area.
While in the Intoxilyzer Room at the Johnston County Detention Center being given a Breathalyzer test, Chavis was allegedly witnessed trying to discretely discard of several items in a wastebasket.
The items were retrieved from the wastebasket and determined to be six credit cards belonging to different individuals.
Court records indicate Chavis registered 0.14 on the Breathalyzer, nearly double the legal limit of 0.08.
In addition to the traffic charges from the State Highway Patrol, Chavis was charged by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office with six felony counts of financial card theft.
Chavis was given a $1,500 secured bond on the traffic charges plus an additional $250,000 secured bond on the financial card theft warrants.

Wow this is my Ex I truly feel sorry him but god has a way of humbling people that treat the person that had their back through thick and thin badly. I hope all those females he spent money on that he brought watches and chains bail him out
