Eagle Scout Jason Morgan Recognized

An Eagle Scout Court of Honor was held at Hephzibah Baptist Church on February 24th for Eagle Scout Jason Alan Morgan from Boy Scout Troop 23 of Princeton.

Jason is currently the Senior Patrol Leader of Troop 23 and he has also held the position of Junior Assistant Scoutmaster. He is a member of the Order of the Arrow (the Honor Society of the Boy Scouts of America). He has earned the God & Country Award and the God & Church Award. He has also mentored Cub Scouts as a Den Chief of Pack 23.

Jason is currently a senior at Princeton High School. He will be enlisting into the United States Navy upon his high school graduation and will attend boot camp at the Naval Station Great Lakes Training Command in Illinois. Jason then will be working in a Military Occupational Field as a Mechanical Engineer.

During his Eagle Scout Court of Honor, Jason was presented with the Eagle Scout Good Citizenship Award from Eagle Scout Coordinator Lewis W. Rice III on behalf of the Johnston County Marine Corps League Carry-On Detachment 1236.

Jason is the son of Troop 23 Scoutmaster David Bittinger and Christa Morgan of Smithfield.
