Impaired Driver Arrested Following Brief Pursuit, JCSO Says
PRINCETON – An out-of-state motorist was apprehended after trying to outrun Johnston County deputies.
Justin Michael Hinnefeld of Ruther Glen, Virginia is facing numerous charges.

On June 14 around 1:32am, a deputy was walking back to his patrol car after completing a traffic stop on US 70 near Rains Mills Road. The blue lights were still activated on the patrol car.
Officers said a 2009 Chevy Silverado failed to move over while passing the traffic stop.
The deputy pursued the pickup on Rains Mill Road at speeds of 57 miles per hour. The chase turned onto Princeton-Kenly Road and after a short distance the driver, identified as Hinnefeld, stopped.
A concealed pistol was located in the vehicle.
Hinnefeld later registered 0.20 on the Breathalyzer, more than double the legal limit of 0.08.
He was charged with misdemeanor fleeing to elude arrest, driving while impaired, carrying a concealed weapon, unlawful passing an emergency vehicle, failure to maintain lane control, and possession of an open container of alcohol in a passenger area.
The 25 year-old driver was held released on a $1,000 secured bond.
His pickup truck was seized.
