Joint Operation In Nash County Results In 17 Arrests, Firearm Seizures

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — A joint law enforcement operation in Nash County last weekend resulted in multiple arrests, firearm seizures and dozens of criminal charges, according to the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement Division.
The operation was conducted by the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement (ALE) Division, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and the Nash County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities said the enforcement effort targeted controlled substance violations, alcohol law violations, impaired driving offenses and criminal activity occurring at or around businesses licensed to sell alcohol.
One of the most significant incidents during the operation involved a vehicle pursuit after authorities said Dreyshawn Rhymeke Robinson nearly struck an ALE agent’s vehicle head-on while driving erratically and displaying signs of impairment or reckless driving.
Investigators said Robinson led officers on a pursuit through Rocky Mount, reaching speeds of more than 100 mph, running several red lights and continuing to drive recklessly. During the chase, passenger Kendrick Keon Richardson reportedly jumped from the vehicle and fled on foot into nearby woods before being apprehended by ALE agents.

Nash County Sheriff’s Office deputies later located the Dodge Charger involved in the pursuit at a Rocky Mount residence. After obtaining a search warrant for the home, investigators seized two firearms.
Robinson was charged with felony possession of a firearm by a felon, felony fleeing to elude arrest and several traffic-related offenses.
Overall, authorities said 17 people were charged with a combined 39 criminal offenses during the enforcement operation. Officers also seized the 2015 Dodge Charger used in the pursuit along with four firearms. Two of the firearms were allegedly possessed illegally by a convicted felon, and one firearm had an altered serial number.
Officials said altered or removed serial numbers make firearms untraceable, eliminating critical evidence needed to investigate gun crimes while allowing prohibited individuals, including convicted felons and domestic abusers, to unlawfully possess firearms.
Among those arrested was Tysheed Kahlil Hill, 19, of Enfield, who was charged with felony exposing a child to a controlled substance, felony altering or removing a firearm serial number, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, misdemeanor carrying a concealed gun and misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
Trevaughn Antonio Biggs, 34, of Williamston, was charged with transporting an open container of an alcoholic beverage and a break/stop light equipment violation.
Kamika Raechelle Goss, 18, of Williamston, was charged with misdemeanor possession of up to one-half ounce of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
Juawn Deeown Whitaker, 29, of Rocky Mount, was charged with carrying a concealed gun. Authorities said Whitaker was also arrested on outstanding failing-to-appear charges stemming from an order for arrest issued in Pitt County.
Dreyshawn Rhymeke Robinson, 28, of Rocky Mount, was charged with felony possession of a firearm by a felon, felony fleeing to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, failure to heed lights or siren, two counts of failing to stop at a steady red light and failure to maintain lane control.
Kendrick Keon Richardson, 31, of Nashville, was charged with resisting a public officer and misdemeanor possession of up to one-half ounce of marijuana.
