With the rising price of lumber, construction thefts are becoming more common. One recent theft occurred at a new home construction site on Twilight Trail in the Willow Spring community.
A project manager with Dan Ryan Builders of Morrisville reported 152 pieces of 2x4x14 lumber were stolen between April 23rd and 26th. The lumber was valued at $1,988.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
