Pine Level, NC: Mrs. Ann Lee Register, age 72, of Oliver Street passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM-Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Rose & Graham Chapel in Benson. Revs. Betty Cha Parker and Joe Earp will officiate. Burial will follow in the McLamb Family Cemetery in Benson.
Mrs. Register was born on November 16, 1949 in Harnett County to the late Oscar Pearson and Novenia Barefoot Lee. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Schumitta; sisters and brothers, Ruby Lee Holmes, Christine Lee, Ernestine Tart, Alene McLamb, Judy McLamb, Buck Lee, and Billy Lee.
Mrs. Register retired from Doretha Dix Hospital as a CNA after 30 years of service.
Surviving include her son, Tracy Register of Pine Level; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 9:45AM to 10:45AM prior to the service at the funeral home in Benson.
