Benson, NC: Mrs. Christal Lee Barefoot Neal, age 32, of Woods Crossroads Road passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023. Funeral Services will be held-2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. A private burial will follow.
Christal was born on September 25, 1990 in Jefferson Parrish, Louisiana to Christopher Wayne and Tammy Schultz Barefoot. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Noah and Christine Barefoot.
Christal had a heart of gold and an outgoing personality that was instilled in her at an early age by her grandmother, Christine. She would do anything for anyone and was a true friend. She loved music, the beach, and spending time with her parents. More than anything, she loved her children, they were her world. She will be remembered as a loving daughter that made her parents proud, a sister that could always be counted on, and a friend to everyone.
Survivors include her children, Noah Christopher Barefoot, Alice Christine Neal, and McKinsey Adele Neal; parents, Christopher and Tammy Barefoot; husband, Bryce Neal; sisters, Tiffany Diehl and husband, Chris and Courtney Barefoot and husband, Brandon; brother, John Barefoot and wife, Crystal; maternal grandmother, Loretta McCluggage; aunts, Alice Parker and husband Buck and Sandra Schultz; uncles, James Barefoot, Leonard Barefoot and wife, Angie, and Troy Schultz and wife, Nikki; cousins, Todd Parker, Jay Parker, Jeff Parker, Candace Barefoot Allen, Ashley Schultz, and Christine Schultz; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM prior to the service at Rose and Graham Funeral Home.
