Mary Lee Cockrell
STEDMAN – Ms. Mary Lee Cockrell, 88, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Lafayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville, officiating will be Rev. Kevin Edwards.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM Wednesday before the service. There will be a funeral procession to the cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Hollenhead and Taver Vance Hollenhead; husband, Norman Cockrell; son, Phillip Cockrell; and a daughter, Lynn Cockrell; and granddaughter, Robyn Cockrell.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Mike Cockrell of Stedman; grandchildren, Jonathan Cockrell & wife, Jamie of Stedman, Stephen Cockrell of Stedman, and Justin Cockrell of Eastover; great grandchildren, Jaycee and Jevin Cockrell, and Kaedon Loweke; and her twin sister, Clara of Columbus, Georgia.
