Mr. Overby was born on October 27, 1962 in Florida to the late David Randall and Mavis Marie Clifton Overby. Mr. Overby was a Cabinet Maker with Brock Cabinets and a member of Friendly Chapel Church in Benson, NC.

Surviving is his daughter, Amanda Michelle Overby.
