Ronald Delano Tedder

    Ronald Delano Tedder, 63, earned his eternal reward on February 18, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Wilson on June 28, 1960, Ronald was the son of the late Delano R. Tedder and Vonda Lee Barnes Tedder.

    Ronald is survived by his wife, Linda Gainey Tedder; children, Brent Tedder and wife, Gabrielle, Melissa West and spouse, Jay Parker, Kevin Boswell and wife, Jamie, Dennis Boswell and wife, Cindy, and Ashley Whitley; grandchildren, Skylar West, Moxlee Parker, Christopher Boswell, Evan Boswell and wife, Kymber, Cody Boswell, Andy Boswell, Marianne Boswell, and Hannah Boswell; siblings, Wanda Howell and husband, Johnnie, and Cora Lee Johnson and husband, Denny.

    For many years, Ronald worked as a roofer. Many people would call on him for his quality and exceptional work. In his spare time, Ronald could be seen on the back of a horse or by the water with a fishing pole in hand. Ronald was a faithful believer in Jesus Christ. He was faithful to church and loved worshipping the Lord.

    Family was paramount in Ronald’s life. His love for his family knew no bounds and each moment spent together with his family was a memory he would cherish forever. He loved having the whole family around, especially his grandbabies. Ronald will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, and of course, grandfather.

    A service to celebrate Ronald’s life will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Kenly Funeral Service with Pastor Sammy Evans and Pastor William Holland presiding. Internment services will be held at Kenly Cemetery immediately following the service. The family will receive friends the evening prior, on February 21, 2024 at Kenly Funeral Service from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

    In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be sent to The American Cancer Society PO Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741 in memory of Ronald.
