Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Ronald King “Rooster” Allen, age 53, of Parkertown Road passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held 3:00PM – Sunday, May 7, 2023 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Four Oaks. Rev. Jeremy Autry will officiate. Burial will follow in the Allen Family Cemetery in Four Oaks.
Mr. Allen was born on January 1, 1970 in Johnston County, NC to Mavis Johnson Allen of Four Oaks and to the late Donald K. Allen. He was a cabinet builder and co-owner of Allen and Sons Cabinet Shop in Four Oaks. Mr. Allen enjoyed inventing different things like Grill Appeal which were stick on grills for trucks. He enjoyed breeding golden retrievers, going to the lake, and the beach. Mr. Allen was known for his big heart and would always be willing to lend a helping hand to his neighbors and friends.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his children, Trevor Allen and Torrie Allen both of Four Oaks; brothers and sister, Ronnie Allen and wife, Connie, Donnie Allen and friend, Brenda, Marie A. Blackmon and husband, Will all of Four Oaks; mother of his children, Leanne Holland of Coats; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 1:30PM to 2:45PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks and other times at the home.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity.
